Everyone wants to start something--a blog, a business, a hobby, or a project. But, not everyone actually get to start... at all.
The most common reason, they say, is that they don't have much time.
They say that they'll finally do it when:
- They graduate from college,
- Their kids graduate from college,
- They quit their job,
- They get promoted, or
- They finally retire.
They are waiting to have more time in their hands. But, it just doesn't work that way.
Instead of waiting for years or even decades to have more time, here's a simpler solution: include it in your routine.
Break your routine by doing one thing everyday. You can start by doing it for ten minutes a day. Ten minutes is already a lot. You can already start a blog on Medium in less than ten minutes!
You may also want to try doing something during your limited free time. When you do, you'll realize that you have a lot of it. You just fail to use it productively. Now, turn off that TV and sell it! (Just kidding. But, you may really want to consider doing so.)
This way, you might also get a sense of whether you can do it full-time or not.
Here's an interesting article I read on the internet. It's from Jeff Goins, one of the bloggers and writers I look up to and follow. You may want to check out his article to inspire you to get started:
This just goes to show that when you put some effort into it, you can do a lot in 48 hours, even make a sale!
