Faith that can move mountains

“If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” — Matthew 17:20

I wish I have the faith that can move mountains, the size of faith that will allow me to do what seems impossible in my life, the size of faith that will allow me to reach my dreams.

I wish I can have the size of faith that gives me courage in the face of my fears, discouragement, and hopelessness.

I wish I can have the kind of faith that can help me trust God more.

I really wish to move mountains, that is, to do what seems impossible in my life.

I guess it doesn’t take much faith to move mountains. Faith the size of a mustard seed will do.

But how hard it is to have even that small amount of faith!

But more than faith that can move mountains, I wish I have the faith that allows me to love God more, to seek Him more, and put Him above all else.

And one day, I wish I can have the faith that will allow me to love others more, the faith that allows God’s love to overflow through me.

Wait, maybe I am measuring my faith by the wrong thing, by the results that my faith produces.

Maybe I should start measuring my faith by the love I give (and the love that I allow myself to receive from God).
