It’s your turn

Go out and be Jesus to someone every day — starting today.

In this second Sunday of Easter, the readings remind us of how Jesus is sending us like how the Father sent Him:

“[Jesus] said to them again,l ‘Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.’” — John 20:21

Now, it’s our turn…

… to love God and to love others — even if it means dying on the cross. Or at least dying to our own selfish desires.

… to be sent and to be a witness to God’s love — even if we have to muster all our courage to do so or be uncomfortable.

… to proclaim the Gospel — even if it means being rejected or criticized.

… to live like Jesus — even if it means dying like He did as well.

It’s not easy. It never was even for Jesus.

But it’s our turn.

Go out and be Jesus to someone every day — starting today.
