Today, we commemorate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ.
We remember how the Son came down from Heaven to reveal who God truly is — our Father.
“No one has ever seen God. The only Son, God, who is at the Father’s side, has revealed him.” — John 1:18
Today, the Gospel not only reminds us of the birth of our Savior. It also reminds us that we too are children of God.
“But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God.” — John 1:12
And like Jesus, His Firstborn, let us live like He did: holy, trusting, obedient, loving, gentle, and loving of others as our siblings, as members of the same family of God.
Merry Christmas! God loves you like a father loves his child.
